You know what is scarier than that?
That you probably already know.
In the last few months, I started diagnosing regional companies that bill well, have a team, have a story, have a good product. And I found a disturbing pattern: businesses already past eight digits in revenue, but with the digital presence of a micro company.
Construction companies that depend on referrals to survive. Distributors with 50 employees and 200 Instagram followers. Law firms that Google simply does not know.
And worst of all: the owners know. They just do not know where to start.
But before I talk about them, I need to talk about myself.
I was exactly this problem.
I founded Elos Studio to help companies build digital authority. I have 37 years of audiovisual production, four continents of filmmaking, I am an international sommelier and an agilist. I have 13,000 connections on LinkedIn.
And until a few weeks ago, my own Instagram had 9 posts. My website had no articles. The Elos page on LinkedIn had 3 publications.
I was selling digital presence without having my own. I dedicated myself to my clients results and postponed mine.
When I realized this, I had two options: pretend it was not a problem or stop everything and fix it.
I chose to stop everything.
What I learned from this diagnosis:
Digital authority is not built with volume. It is built with consistency and intention.
An R$10MM company that posts three times a week without strategy stays invisible. One that posts once a week with clear positioning starts being found in 60 days.
The difference is not how much you post. It is what you say, to whom, and whether Google and AI search tools can understand that you are a reference in your sector.
Yes, AI search tools. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini. Your future clients are already asking these tools who the best vendors in your area, in your city, are. If you do not show up there, you do not exist for them.
Some of my clients found me through GPT. And I am not even an OpenAI user inside its ecosystem. It is the way I exposed myself that made it recommend me.
Three signs your company has this problem:
You depend on referrals for almost 100% of new clients.
When you search your name on Google, the result is weak or generic.
Your sales team works too hard to close deals that should arrive ready.
If you identified two out of three, this is not bad luck. It is the absence of a system.
What changes when you solve it:
Clients arrive qualified, having already researched you.
Your sales team closes faster because trust was built before the first conversation.
You stop competing on price with companies smaller than you, because your authority justifies your value.
I am building this system for Elos right now, in practice, in real time. And documenting every step.

I stopped everything to rebuild Elos Studio from scratch. What I decided, what I discarded, what I learned and what really changed in the first week.

There is a mechanism behind the curtains that decides whether you show up, and show up well, on Google and AI search. Or that keeps you completely off their radar. Very few people know about it.
